Le Bel Ami began with two girls and a lot of dogs.

One of us grew up in Chongqing—bold, vibrant, and full of life. The other comes from Beijing—thoughtful, determined, and endlessly curious.

We met through stray dog rescue.

What started as weekends spent transporting rescues, fostering dogs, and volunteering at shelters soon became a friendship built on a shared belief: every dog deserves love, care, and a chance to thrive.

Over the years, dogs became more than companions—they became family. They taught us patience, loyalty, resilience, and the joy found in the simplest moments. They shaped the way we see the world and inspired the life we wanted to build.

As dog lovers, we were constantly searching for accessories and everyday essentials that felt as special as the dogs who wore them. We wanted pieces that were beautiful, thoughtfully made, and designed to complement a life shared with dogs. Yet much of what we found felt either purely functional or lacking personality.

So we created Le Bel Ami.
